MAC

MAC noži so narejeni na Japonskem, natančneje v mestu Seki. Izdelani so iz jekla z visokim odstotkom ogljika (C), z dodatki kroma (Cr), vanadija (V), molibdena (Mo) in volfram (W). So odporni na rjavenje vendar ne nerjaveči. Rezultat je neverjetno ostro rezilo trdote cca 60 HRC  brušenim pod izjemno ostrim kotom 15 stopinj, ki ostane oster zelo dolgo in ga je enostavno ponovno nabrusiti. Znani so po izjemni uravnoteženosti in zato zelo primerni za profesionalno kuharsko rabo. Uporablja jih tudi Chef Gordon Ramsey.

MAC knives are made in Japan, precisely in the city of Seki. They are made of steel with a high content of carbon (C) and addition of chromium (Cr), vanadium (V), molybdenum (Mo) and tungsten (W). They are corrosion-resistant but not stainless. The result is an extremely sharp blade of approximately 60 HRC in hardness, ground under an extremely sharp angle of 15 degrees, which remains sharp for a very long period of time and can be easily resharpened. They are well-known for their balance and are very suitable for a professional use in cooking. They are also used by chef Gordon Ramsey.
